Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has its ups and downs. On the positive side, the rooms, though a bit dated, are exceptionally clean, and the friendly service adds value to the stay. However, being located right above the smoking area in the pub can be a downside, and the late-night noise from glass bottle recycling was disruptive.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was basic, old, and tired, with a strong smell of smoke from the pub below making it unpleasant to keep the window open. On the bright side, the price was quite affordable at £30 each including breakfast, even though navigating through the dimly lit corridors was a bit challenging.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean but a bit small with a compact ensuite. The service was fine, and they even provided a garage for our car, but there were some issues. The location was convenient, just 100 meters from restaurants and a McDonald's, but the noise from the pub could be disruptive. The dining experience was good with plentiful options, though there were some drawbacks. Overall, a decent stay with its ups and downs.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are well-renovated and spotlessly clean, providing good value for the price paid; however, they need some maintenance as they are basic and located down a narrow corridor. The service was polite and professional, even offering the use of garages for the car, while the location is convenient, being in the town center near restaurants but could be noisy due to bar activities late at night. The dining experience was fantastic with excellent quality and cheap prices, although the noise from the bar staff at night was a disturbance.
I had a great stay at the hotel – the rooms were faultless, well-renovated, and spotlessly clean, with a pleasant air freshener. While the décor was a little dated, considering the price we paid, it was fantastic value overall. The service was friendly, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, catering to the needs of both locals and visitors. The location was convenient, just a short walk to restaurants and even a McDonald's. However, noise from the bar staff late at night impacted my sleep quality. The dining experience was excellent, offering good quality food at very reasonable prices.
